2265e98b72 lsi: check if SIGP bit is already set in Wait reselect
If SIGP is set, the 'Wait for Reselection' command should jump
immediately to the address stored in the second DWORD of the

12dd89f700 lsi: implement basic SBCL functionality
HP-UX checks this register after sending data to the target. If there's no valid

d804232dc4 virtio-scsi: Fix build with gcc 9
Build fails with gcc 9:

  CC ppc64-softmmu/hw/scsi/virtio-scsi.o
hw/scsi/virtio-scsi.c: In function ‘virtio_scsi_do_tmf’:
hw/scsi/virtio-scsi.c:265:39: error: taking address of packed member of ‘struct virtio_scsi_ctrl_tmf_req’ may result in an unaligned pointer value [-Werror=address-of-packed-member]

      | ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
cc1: all warnings being treated as errors

All the fields in struct virtio_scsi_ctrl_tmf_req are naturally aligned,
so we could in theory drop QEMU_PACKED. Unfortunately, the header file
is imported from linux which already has the packed attribute. Trying to
fix that in the update-linux-headers.sh script is likely to produce
ugliness. Turn the call to virtio_tswap32s() into an assignment instead.

5dc8ab361a hw/i386/pc: run the multiboot loader before the PVH loader
Some multiboot images could be in the ELF format. In the current
implementation QEMU fails because we try to load these images
as a PVH image.

In order to fix this issue, we should try multiboot first (we
already check the multiboot magic header before to load it).
If it is not a multiboot image, we can try the PVH loader.

f6a0d06ba7 machine: Move nvdimms state into struct MachineState
As NVDIMM support is looming for ARM and SPAPR, let's
move the acpi_nvdimm_state to the generic machine struct
instead of duplicating the same code in several machines.
It is also renamed into nvdimms_state and becomes a pointer.

nvdimm and nvdimm-persistence become generic machine options.
They become guarded by a nvdimm_supported machine class member.
We also add a description for those options.

85bc58520c audio: use qapi AudioFormat instead of audfmt_e
I had to include an enum for audio sampling formats into qapi, but that
meant duplicating the audfmt_e enum. This patch replaces audfmt_e and
associated values with the qapi generated AudioFormat enum.

This patch is mostly a search-and-replace, except for switches where the
qapi generated AUDIO_FORMAT_MAX caused problems.

862b4a291d hw/display: Add basic ATI VGA emulation
At least two machines, the PPC mac99 and MIPS fulong2e, have an ATI
gfx chip by default (Rage 128 Pro and M6/RV100 respectively) and
guests running on these and the PMON2000 firmware of the fulong2e
expect this to be available. Fortunately these are very similar chips
so they can be mostly emulated in the same device model. This patch
adds basic emulation of these ATI VGA chips.

While this is incomplete and currently only enough to run the MIPS
firmware and get framebuffer output with Linux, it allows the fulong2e
board to work more like the real hardware and having it in QEMU in
this state provides a way to experiment with it and allows others to
contribute to improve it. It is compiled for all archs but only the
fulong2e (which currently has no display output at all) is set to use
it by default (in a separate patch).

9e5c2056d1 s390x: express dependencies with Kconfig
Instead of hard-coding all config switches in the config file
default-configs/s390x-softmmu.mak, let's use the new Kconfig files
to express the necessary dependencies: The S390_CCW_VIRTIO config switch
for the "s390-ccw-virtio" machine now selects all non-optional devices.

And since we already have the VIRTIO_PCI and VIRTIO_MMIO config switches
for the other two virtio transports, this patch also introduces a new
config switch VIRTIO_CCW for the third, s390x-specific virtio transport,
so that all three virtio transports are now handled in the same way.

switch. We can drop CONFIG_VGA_CIRRUS since this device is already
selected automatically when CONFIG_PCI_DEVICES is set.

Select the required devices in hw/ppc/Kconfig instead, so that
ppc-softmmu.mak only contains the user-selectable PREP switch.
Plug-in devices like NE2000_ISA are pulled in automatically by the
Kconfig build system now.

87f9108bad ppc64: Express dependencies of 'pseries' and 'powernv' machines with kconfig
The POWERNV switch should always select ISA_IPMI_BT, then the other
IPMI options are turned on automatically now.
CONFIG_DIMM should always be selected by the pseries machine,
which in turn depends on CONFIG_MEM_DEVICE since DIMM implements
this interface.
CONFIG_VIRTIO_VGA can be dropped from default-configs/ppc64-softmmu.mak
completely since this device is already automatically enabled via
hw/display/Kconfig now.
