611f3bdb20 hw/acpi/ghes: Make ghes_record_cper_errors() static
acpi_ghes_memory_errors() is the only caller, no need to expose
the function. Besides, the last 'return' in this function isn't
necessary and remove it.

No functional changes intended.

47935fc1e5 acpi/ghes: Change ghes fill logic to work with only one source
Extending to multiple sources require a BIOS pointer to the
beginning of the HEST table, which in turn requires a backward-compatible
code.

So, the current code supports only one source. Ensure that and simplify
the code.

1cd59b8981 acpi/ghes: move offset calculus to a separate function
Currently, CPER address location is calculated as an offset of
the hardware_errors table. It is also badly named, as the
offset actually used is the address where the CPER data starts,
and not the beginning of the error source.

Move the logic which calculates such offset to a separate
function, in preparation for a patch that will be changing the
logic to calculate it from the HEST table.

While here, properly name the variable which stores the cper
address.

652f6d86cb acpi/ghes: better name the offset of the hardware error firmware
The hardware error firmware is where HEST error structures are
stored. Those can be GHESv2, but they can also be other types.

Better name the location of the hardware error.

48b0dcdd67 acpi/ghes: make the GHES record generation more generic
Split the code into separate functions to allow using the
common CPER filling code by different error sources.

The generic code was moved to ghes_record_cper_errors(),
and ghes_gen_err_data_uncorrectable_recoverable() now contains
only a logic to fill the Generic Error Data part of the record,
as described at:

	ACPI 6.2: 18.3.2.7.1 Generic Error Data

The remaining code to generate a memory error now belongs to
acpi_ghes_record_errors() function.

A further patch will give it a better name.

a85a3b729b acpi/ghes: better handle source_id and notification
GHES has two fields that are stored on HEST error source
blocks associated with notifications:

- notification type, which is a number defined at the ACPI spec
  containing several arch-specific synchronous and assynchronous
  types;
- source id, which is a HW/FW defined number, used to distinguish
  between different implemented sources.

There could be several sources with the same notification type,
which is dependent of the way each architecture maps notifications.

Right now, build_ghes_v2() hardcodes a 1:1 mapping between such
fields. Move it to two independent parameters, allowing the
caller function to fill both.

606a42c4c1 acpi/ghes: simplify the per-arch caller to build HEST table
The GHES driver requires not only a HEST table, but also a
separate firmware file to store Error Structure records.
It can't do one without the other.

Simplify the caller logic for it to require one function.

9323e79f10 Fix 'writeable' typos
We have about 30 instances of the typo/variant spelling 'writeable',
and over 500 of the more common 'writable'.  Standardize on the
latter.

Change produced with:

  sed -i -e 's/\([Ww][Rr][Ii][Tt]\)[Ee]\([Aa][Bb][Ll][Ee]\)/\1\2/g' $(git grep -il writeable)

and then hand-undoing the instance in linux-headers/linux/kvm.h.

Most of these changes are in comments or documentation; the
exceptions are:
 * a local variable in accel/hvf/hvf-accel-ops.c
 * a local variable in accel/kvm/kvm-all.c
 * the PMCR_WRITABLE_MASK macro in target/arm/internals.h
 * the EPT_VIOLATION_GPA_WRITABLE macro in target/i386/hvf/vmcs.h
   (which is never used anywhere)
 * the AR_TYPE_WRITABLE_MASK macro in target/i386/hvf/vmx.h
   (which is never used anywhere)

1c81f5735a hw/acpi: Provide function acpi_ghes_present()
Allow code elsewhere in the system to check whether the ACPI GHES
table is present, so it can determine whether it is OK to try to
record an error by calling acpi_ghes_record_errors().

(We don't need to migrate the new 'present' field in AcpiGhesState,
because it is set once at system initialization and doesn't change.)

602b458201 acpi: Permit OEM ID and OEM table ID fields to be changed
Qemu's ACPI table generation sets the fields OEM ID and OEM table ID
to "BOCHS " and "BXPCxxxx" where "xxxx" is replaced by the ACPI
table name.

Some games like Red Dead Redemption 2 seem to check the ACPI OEM ID
and OEM table ID for the strings "BOCHS" and "BXPC" and if they are
found, the game crashes(this may be an intentional detection
mechanism to prevent playing the game in a virtualized environment).

This patch allows you to override these default values.

The feature can be used in this manner:
qemu -machine oem-id=ABCDEF,oem-table-id=GHIJKLMN

The oem-id string can be up to 6 bytes in size, and the
oem-table-id string can be up to 8 bytes in size. If the string are
smaller than their respective sizes they will be padded with space.
If either of these parameters is not set, the current default values
will be used for the one missing.

Note that the the OEM Table ID field will not be extended with the
name of the table, but will use either the default name or the user
provided one.

This does not affect the -acpitable option (for user-defined ACPI
tables), which has precedence over -machine option.

558b9d8640 ACPI: Record Generic Error Status Block(GESB) table
kvm_arch_on_sigbus_vcpu() error injection uses source_id as
index in etc/hardware_errors to find out Error Status Data
Block entry corresponding to error source. So supported source_id
values should be assigned here and not be changed afterwards to
make sure that guest will write error into expected Error Status
Data Block.

Before QEMU writes a new error to ACPI table, it will check whether
previous error has been acknowledged. If not acknowledged, the new
errors will be ignored and not be recorded. For the errors section
type, QEMU simulate it to memory section error.

a08a64627b ACPI: Record the Generic Error Status Block address
Record the GHEB address via fw_cfg file, when recording
a error to CPER, it will use this address to find out
Generic Error Data Entries and write the error.

In order to avoid migration failure, make hardware
error table address to a part of GED device instead
of global variable, then this address will be migrated
to target QEMU.

205cc75dee ACPI: Build Hardware Error Source Table
This patch builds Hardware Error Source Table(HEST) via fw_cfg blobs.
Now it only supports ARMv8 SEA, a type of Generic Hardware Error
Source version 2(GHESv2) error source. Afterwards, we can extend
the supported types if needed. For the CPER section, currently it
is memory section because kernel mainly wants userspace to handle
the memory errors.

This patch follows the spec ACPI 6.2 to build the Hardware Error
Source table. For more detailed information, please refer to
document: docs/specs/acpi_hest_ghes.rst

build_ghes_hw_error_notification() helper will help to add Hardware
Error Notification to ACPI tables without using packed C structures
and avoid endianness issues as API doesn't need explicit conversion.

aa16508f1d ACPI: Build related register address fields via hardware error fw_cfg blob
This patch builds error_block_address and read_ack_register fields
in hardware errors table , the error_block_address points to Generic
Error Status Block(GESB) via bios_linker. The max size for one GESB
is 1kb, For more detailed information, please refer to
document: docs/specs/acpi_hest_ghes.rst

Now we only support one Error source, if necessary, we can extend to
support more.
